This week is kinda overloaded with design work. Did a few report layouts, powerpoint presentation layouts, and christmas ecards. A bit sian because inspirations and ideas dun flow when i’m confine in the office. If they would let me out to the nearby libraries or cafe, let me sit in and listen to the music, den hou seh liao…

Next week will be rather free. But i noe i din do well in the contact list and the brochure layout. Will think of something to surprise them. Hopefully lah~ Den i better dun play so xiong over the weekends. Everytime dread myself out. Do more ecards or even prepare for Chinese New Year and Birthday ones. They are rather demanding.

My colleague, Catherine gave birth to a baby girl yesterday afternoon. So we pay a visit to her at Raffles Hospital after work.

She looks very fine, not tired, not dread out. We were asking about her delivery process. It was a smooth quick one, around 2 hrs and she only exerts 2 pushes. The baby is pushed to the room. So small and cute. She is very responsive to our voices. Keep blinking and looking at us. Must be a smart girl next time.

Today is also Bernard’s birthday. Happy birthday, sweetie~ Poor thing, he is celebrating his birthday in camp. All the best lah. He just complaint his commandor’s life to me. Got time must meet up again… Maybe with Zijian as well.

Well~ My problem is definitely not a problem.

Once again, life is a natural course where you go through birth, old, sick and death. Incidents after incidents remind me that life is so fragile.

Meet up with the click in the evening because this is Johnson’s first book out day. Had our dinner at Suntec’s N.Y.D.C.. Johnson also suffered from the so-called “Tekong cough”. It shall take him some time to recover then. But his botak hair cut is cute, like a little boy. Hahaha~

Over the dinner table, the guys are on this endless ns topic. Duh~ Went walk walk to the Sky Garden at the top floor, before settling down at the Pacific Coffee. Though they are still on their very ns topics, but it started to interest me after they brought in the creepy stories in Tekong. Nothing but hair stands and wild imagination. Heez~

I’m too much like a kid, too ren xing. I believe: ‘I control my life’. But it is definitely not this way in reality. I lost the fearless spirit to fight for what i really want. I should have prove you people wrong instead of retreating. My life is under another round of regeneration…

I have gotten a new hair cut yesterday. I’m very very very satisfied with my new look. Tonight i will be going back to the salon to do the coloring. Thank you Xing Cai for your recommendation and companion. I did hair relaxing and a total new hair cut.

Had dinner at Harbour Front’s Noodle Hut. Food is so so. But we are basically too hungry to be picky. Settle in and talk while eating. Xing Cai pointed out that i’m less zhu guan (objective) compare to what i am in primary school. Well… I guess i’m just not too much of ‘right is right, wrong is wrong’ tone of speaking and thinking. “You are in your transition period.” he mentioned. Hmm… Sounds positive and encouraging.

I told him i’m not sure when people asked around for opinions, do they:

1. Ask for their personal references or

2. They are looking for a voice that acknowledge them and their decision made in prior.

But the point is: if people do ask for references, aren’t they have set their mind already set? Isn’t this equivalent to point 2? And they just want to hear different voices, or are they hunting for a certain reply from peers? Then why still ask? But he does make me understand that no one asks for references. Ultimately, you will be spinning round and round, looking for voices whom sing in unison with you. This is what human are all about.

Received an advanced birthday greeting from Wirna last nite. My dearest blurred gal, she gave me a greeting 1 month ahead. Indeed veri early… Haha~

Saw my 97 again after the dreadful 1 month. Somehow he take a earlier bus to work and knock off earlier. Bongy, my time to show off~ Your bus 75 leh? Wahaha~

Today is another dreadful day for me… The bus cocks up again. So i altogether took 3 buses, and i gave up. Ended myself in Clementi MRT Interchange. Pass by the central market and kopitiam, wanted to buy hum ji beng. Who is free huh? Long time never wear lok cok lok cok to market for breakfast. We go eat breakfast leh. Heez~

Later will be cutting my hair. Dunno how it will look like…

See all you dumbos on saturday…

Watched New Police Story at GV Plaza Singapura yesterday. The movie focuses quite a bit on the story plot. Indeed veri different from the past Jackie Chan’s movies. They had a fair share of the kungfu fighting among the casts. Not those usual focus on Jackie Chan alone. Nicholse Tze is cute. But somehow i just cant shake off the troublemaker image from him. And Jackie Chan aged alot… Time flies..

Dinner wif Bong and Lester at Taka B2 Japanese restaurant. Shop around and we bought lots of cds. Spotted one of the Singapore Idol who has been eliminated in the group round. Sibei hao lian… I diaoz him all the way while crossing the street. But the gals at Cineleisure crowd around him to get his autogragh. Sibei bo liao… Singapore idol cannot make it one. Damn lot of catfights and hidden scandals. Fake~

I guess i catch a cold last nite. Either i wear too little (which is pretty much impossible) or i bathe at quite a late hour. Ah-chooing thru the nite. Can’t even get a proper sleep. Idiot… Fall asleep 2 times in the day. Wasted my sunday time. But managed to find a new cartoon series that i enjoyed. Hai… The merging of Mediacorp and Mediawork causes some changes in Channel U’s program. Afternoon’s Wan Quan Yu Le, sunday’s Shen Huo Zhi Hui wang taken off. Haiz… The next i guess is Zhong Yi Da Ge Da and other variety shows liao…

Meet up wif Kenny at Causeway Point on friday. Both of us are late. Had our dinner at Causeway Point’s foodcourt. I took quite a long time to queue for my food, until Kenny thought i lost my way in the mall. Diaoz~

Endless catching up wif his house renovation, his postings, both our future plans and stuff… Walk around the mall to get our food digest. Saw Ahmad in one of the shop wif his family. Catch up a little wif him. But he is plain too busy wif his kid who run here and there. Wat a funny father i would see.

Saturday is steamboat at Laily’s house. Serene called me up last minute to get the groccey list done. Rush down to the wet market downstair wif both my parents. They choose i pay. I can’t imagine being a full-time housewife, facing meat, prawn and fish everyday. Quickly unpacked everything and did a list-checked at home. I head back to bed for a nap first coz i buai dong.

Meet Lester at IKEA to buy some stuff before heading back to my house again. Bought Tiger at NTUC and bumped into another botak. I din expect tat botak to call Lester. I noe tat botak, he is from my primary school, but we never interact. Carry all the stuff and fetched Serene on the way to Laily’s house.

Dinner starts around at 6 plus in the evening. The table is full of food and nothing but food. It’s annoying because our steamboat and hotplate took a long time to get heated up. But we still gobble food into our stomach. Watched Channel U’s variety wif Geargina as one of the contestant. Haha~ Entertaining though, but it is still strange to see my friend inside that small TV…

Chenhui called me up in the mid of my steamboat. I’m over-excited. Din expect him to but was really happy to hear from him. Well~ He is surviving well inside. Nothing to complain to me yet. I’m waiting for him to be out again 2 weeks later.

We started to drink in the second half. Me, Lester each took 2 cans of Tiger. Jackey took 1 can and 1 cup of fruit champagne. The rest are on 1 cup of champagne onli. Can see a few significantly gongz at that instant. My head started to spin after the first can. Too heavy until i need to rest my head on the cushion, the floor, the sofa and everything. Ended the nite wif everyone full and drowsy. But happy~

Wake up by noon time. Guess being alert by my sms. First one by Geargina: “Now i think think think… I think i look weird on tv…” Time dated 3am in the morning. Diaoz~ Crazy gal must be. Hahaha~

So today slack out with Lester at Orchard. Manage to pyscho my dad to fetch me to Orchard. Fortunate leh~ Tea break at Blood Cafe, dinner at Marche. Both of us witness an accident. But we onli started to get alert when several ladies are shouting at the back. Oh my god… Indeed scary~ The little boy should be fine but confirm being shocked by the incoming car that hit him down.

Marche environment is a ‘whoa’ to me. I still remember the tagline for this restaurant : “A restaurant in a market.” Indeed a market-like atmosphere. I eat a lot anyway… Rostie wif chicken sausage, grilled chicken, fried hong kong noodle, pizza and waffle… Yum…

Watched Resident Evil 1 and 2 in a row in 2 consecutive nites. I missed RE 1 the other time, so i get Lester to burn me a copy. Yesterday we went over to Great World City to catch RE 2.

RE 1 is emphasize more on story or rather plot building. RE 2 is more action-packed. You wouldn’t have a single chance to let your eyes rest on the screen. There are several humourous scenes, especially with the presence of ‘Mr Blackie’. Certain scenes are still as gross,But I just don’t get it when the Doctor commanded “Alice de-activated”. Did she change into one of the zombie as well because she has the T-virus in her body? The cast who plays Jill Valentine in RE 2, though chio and cool, but still, the emphasis is not on her. I’m amazed by the technology used in their daily live. Access codes taking over keys and locks. The whole city guarded with video cam. Getting access rights to see what’s happening on the street just with clicks on your computer. Whoa~ But i do picture these in the near future to come.

We went to look for Bong and Serene after the show. Chit chat a little bit before their boss, Say, joined us in the table. Head straight back home with their claimable taxi fare.

Will be meeting Kenny this evening… Looking forward to that~ And oso saturday’s steamboat.
