Bought a Wacom tablet at the Sitex last Saturday. Hope I can fully utilise it for my design and drawing. It is a good training learning freehand drawing. One of the days, I will get my proportion of a human figure right. I sucks in that…
Was very troubled and angry with a brochure design I am dealing with now. It is really ugly… I protested, but that fellow do not want to listen to me. Always say “Lay Hiang, I don’t want white colour.” Man… Thinking of my insert, with photographs occupying in whole of the background, opacity reduced, still make the reading difficult. And I don’t even recognise what image is that. Dumb dumb…
Anyway, this Friday I am flying. Hopefully can come back and continue with the badminton on the 11 December 2005. 12 December I will be flying to Malaysia for business. Shall be back on the 14 December 2005. Contact me after that bah…
Yawns… Sleeping soon in the cold cold office.
Excellence service and help support from the Corbis image provider. Deeply appreciated. Special thanks to Corbis KL office and the Singapore one. My brochure that is due 1 year ago has finally comes to an end. Phew…
Well… After all, me still stuck in the office waiting for a call from London. Damn it!!!
Happen to catch Frequency of the City from arts central yesterday. This show is filmed locally, about how musicians (or people who loves music) compose and build up one work piece.
Yesterday’s episode shows 2 of them going out to record the sounds that they want, den put them together into the computer, edit and *tata* the final piece of music. Looking at the equipment invested, though simple, but I don’t think it is cheap as well. Terms that they used, chord progression (if I did not spell wrongly), are something that if you don’t learn about this subject, you don’t know what is it. Still, I show my encouragement to people who have passion to music.
As for the lyrics, I only believe in talent.
