Dinner with Chenhui and Yimei at Queensway yesterday. It’s been 2 months before we last meet out. Chenhui has been posted to SISPEC (Suffer In Silence Plus Extra Confinement). Haha~ So he will be booking in early tomorrow. Throughout the whole gathering, he was swearing at the air force just because he wasn’t selected.

Lester joined us after the dinner, and we went Safra for coffee. Safra is nice, but nothing much. Change our mind and headed to Great World City instead. Had drinks at coffee bean and couple of catch up. Too much to say and often too little time. Before we notice, it’s about time for us to leave and head back home.

Have been out almost everyday during the weekends. Phew~ Packed week. Especially when christmas is around the corner, you feel so spiritually uplifted, you just can’t help but staying out with the crowd.

Been going for dinner at Hans, Chinatown branch. That was the biggest branch. Ambience at Far East Square is nice. A lot of restaurants and cafes, feel so much like you are at a foreign countries.

Catched National Treasure at GV Marina. Man~ No wonder it is first in US Top Chart. The plot is so fine and amazing, you can’t help by saying ‘Wha~’. Clue after clue, they solved the mystery, leading them nearer to the treasure.

This put me to a thought: ever wonder is there treasure in the world, that actually belongs to your family? Perhaps, i also come from ang-mo ang-mo country. Haha~

Went shopping around at Suntec. Bought presents for colleagues as well as hunting for clothing for myself. Proceed to Orchard, bump into Zijian at Heeran. He was posted to some camp as a clerk. I think he is still super hairy. His hair pores are so dense and his facial hair… Duh~ I bought a china-china skirt for chinese new year at Far East Plaza. Shall be hunting for more clothings and go for hair trimming soon.

Did my blood test last friday. Yup~ Received phonecall from the clinic to get my report.

Well~ Well~ Everything is fine. All the result shows normal. No thyroids for me. Phew~

Anyway, do take care of your health. Don’t start regretting when your body shows some signals…

Went to see a doctor on friday. Run down by cough and flu again. Did my blood test for thyroid. Hmm… Shall know the result in 2 working days. Friday’s book out is a cock up for him. Therefore, we ended up with real late dinner. Brought the piglet Johnson, Jackey and Terry bought for me to Lester’s car. The piglet shall stay in his car for the next few days. Heez~

We went to catch Bridget Jones at GV Marina on saturday. Storyline is rather linear but i like the ‘Adult’ languages they used. Certain point of it is rather hilarious. And my Hugh Grant is ever so charming. Heez~ Shop around the whole day, wanted to get some clothing and shoes. Hmm… But empty-handed still. Only bought a Nike’s singlet for running.

I have a christmas lunch in my office. So there goes the exchange gifts thingy. We draw lots which contains name of our colleague. Whoever you drew, you gotta get them a gift without letting them know. I have a big headache. What would you buy for an insurance broker of aged around 45++, given that the budget is 20 bucks? Still din have anything in my mind.

We bought ingredients for Tiramisu. Get back home and only discover that i have an electric mixer. Phew~ If not i’m going to beat the eggs till dawn. My parents stayed awake through the whole process. Is either they are afraid that i’ll fall asleep in the mid and burn the whole house, or they are waiting to eat. Hahaha~

Sunday, we went Orchard. I’ve made an aim: to buy 1 book, ranging from design to web to whatever that is related to multimedia, every month. So, we got this book ‘Web Index 5’. This book showcases the design of some interesting websites. Attached to this book is a CD-ROM. All the websites you have seen in the book will be compiled in there too. Quite worth it.

We are supposed to see the Change of Guards at Istana. But we got the timing wrong. Heez~ By the time we reached Istana, they have already finished all the stunts and are ready to dismissed. Duh~

On our journey back to Heeran, there is this guy who suddenly stopped us. He showed us a card saying: “I am so-and-so. I am a hyperactive person. Please help me to get back to my house at this address. Direct me to take bus no xxx, xxx, xxx and xxx.” While reading the content, this guy holds my hand. Erm… It wasn’t anything negative, it’s just like a helpless child holding your hand. After reading, most of the bus stated in the card do not have any pick-up points in Orchard, some we are unsure. We left him shortly but hesistated again. Wanted to get back to him, one moment we saw him at the bus stop, the next moment he is gone. Hope he gets back safely.

Had another round of food at Lester’s house. Is soup and blueberry cheese cake and pear. Yum~ Oh yar… And because i tam jia, i gana cheated to eat pork’s sauage today. Omg~ Omg~ Gotta chant and pray to piglet for the entire month.

Everything looks normal today. I have my first christmas card printed out. Whee~ But i’ll need to work on the chinese new year now.

Taufik Batisah is our first Singapore Idol.

I used to vote for Slyester for the past few rounds, he was good. But tonight, i cast my votes for Tafik. The mobile network get so jammed up that i din receive any confirmation sms upon submitting my vote.

I shake my head throughout the performance when Sylester sings. Hmm… Not in his top form. Very weakling voice, out of breathe, cannot hit his pitch at his first song, etc. Rather disappointed.

But i’ll be looking forward to the Singapore Idols compilation and Tafik’s album.

And American Idol Season 4, 2005, stayed tune guys.

Stay over at Lester’s house to do up my illustration. Work late till 3:50am. Yawn~ Wait till around 6:45am, his mum set off and send me back home and send him to Jurong East swimming complex.

Meet up again at noon to go Sitex to get my LCD screen. Next will be a whole new tower. Hmm… Looking forward to it.

Had a belated birhday celebration at The Ricetable, Suntec City. Hmm… 14 turned up including me.

At the end of the day, i was too tired and fall into deep sleep in the car.

First day of my work back from such a long break is dreading. Hmm… Basically dragging myself out of the bed. A little pissed off because my table is untidy. People just stack stuff up on my table, flipped my in-tray and my drawer. Our company doesn’t practise human rights. It is continuous spying, finger-pointing, bootlicking and being calculative. Though i close one eye and ear, but such dramas repeatively happen, every seconds…

This world i live in is freaking cold…

Very busy and tied up with my work. So this week past like a wheeee… Very much dunno how to organise my time, dunno how to put a ‘NO’ to whatever i don’t like. Things just pile up and up my neck.

Saturday’s orchard is always so crowded. Many came down town to shop for christmas gifts. Time really flies. Christmas is around the corner again…

Have been dehydrated from the trip. So i suggested to buy 1 big carton of orange juice to drink. My bladder does not hold a lot, been running in and out the toilet a lot of times. Craving for the Taiwan Xiao Chi at Far East Plaza. Man~ This branch always have a very long queue. Bump into Zhong Xing at Civic Plaza’s underpass. He seems late for some kind of appointment. Dinner at Taka’s basement 2’s italian restaurant, Pasta Cafe. Food is served fast and the portion is big.

Watched The Incredibles at Marina Square. Before the movie starts, they film a short animation clip by Pixar. Very cute sheep. Recommend others to watched The Incredibles as well. It’s not only about the animation, the characters are cute, the plot is also not bad.

The most memorable moment of the day is rushing to toilet after movie. It took us a big round to get to the nearest toilet. Almost cannot tahan liao.

Lester came to my house on Sunday. Had late lunch at the coffeeshop. Went shopping at Westmall, bump into Bernard and his girlfriend. Still his usual self, not much changes. Discover there is quite a bit of new shops coming into Westmall. Finally~ Been hunting for a new mobile. Dunno what to get yet. Perhaps still can wait.

Going back to work tomorrow. Sian~ Will be looking forward to weekends again. Heez~
